Skrējiens apkārt Vaidavas ezeram

Maybe I should start writing in English more often if I take into consideration that there`s no necessary letters for Latvian at this computer. :)
So it happened that last week I decided to run around the Vaidavas lake. It´s something pretty unusual for me as I´m not running much apart from orienteering. But once I had to try it.
The first thing to mention, of course, is heat which didn´t allow us to breath easily and were killing all of us. Still it´s probably nothing if I compare with Mediterranean countries and so. Anyway, thanks to higher power there is a water on Earth, so it helped a lot during this 12 km long race.
Actually at the start I thought that it´s going to be a lot easier, only 12 km after all. But I felt that it´s not that easy to follow any person who were stronger than me (for example, winning girls) and wasn´t even pushing myself that hard. So 5th place in S20 (women age of ~20) is rather well. Also my result (53 minutes) is exactly the time I wanted it to be.

After the race the heat hadn´t taken all the strength from me and Jānis, so we made our own trip along the lake. Later actually also from Vaidava to Cēsis. And than on Sunday I started my next trip to Tartu from where I´m writing now.
Let me say that according to Estonians and me Estonia is the best country in the world! Of course, Latvia is following :D It´s worth to see Tartu and it´s green parks, wooden houses, lot of staff connected with university. If you want I can be a gide as I have lot of maps and information about this city. I´m here for learning Estonian. It probably is going to take me 5 years according to Douglas Wells :D You should read this :) (it´s funny, it really is!) And listen to this.
Tomorrow maybe I´ll have some orienteering near Tartu together with my course mate Jan from Germany. :)
Head ööd! ;)
