Ma jooksen metsas :)

This evening I really got in the forest together with my mate Jan. Also Valentin came, as he looked curious about ´what is this orienteering´. They are both from Germany. It was the second experience for Jan as his father´s cousin runs usually and showed him what the thing is in the previous evening. And it was the first experience for Valentin who had a small explanation from me before, but that´s all. He even bought trousers for that :) So maybe there are some young German runners hanging out with me actually :)
Where were we? Illipalu - a place about 20 km from Tartu near Elva. Nice forest for beginning this sports as there are mainly pine-trees and quite few areas of bushes. Some swamps, lot of paths. Comfortable, you know :)
All of us chose the course 4,4 km long. Guys stuck near one hole for some time, but otherwise they did good and even run, what make them better than beginners :) I did good as well even if I had no usual clothes with me (no orienteering shoes, no orienteering shirt). That actually made me feel weird.
After running we enjoyed perfect swimming into Suur - Umbjärv. A little idyll all around. I could get used to it.
And than we had a possibility to know a real estonian kindness :)
And next week probably some more orienteering.. :)
